Akin to when we purchase new clothing or accessories, we become obsessed with that one piece and flaunt it over and over until we grow tired of it, or until we acquire another new favourite. Much like the King and his many mistresses, very few have the power to retain a king‟s desire and devotion. Artists are no exceptions. They too become besotted with their most recent creation, continually trying to surpass past projects in the eternal pursuit for their magnum opus.
