0:46 Demie Cnidaire From Liuli China Museum

     |     EN

Juliet draws much of her inspiration from nature and natural forms. This appreciation for living creatures is another trait that has been steadfastly passed down through the generations.

She says that “Demie Cnidaire” is a reference to a previous series called “Cnidaire” which was inspired by the veins and transparency of jellyfish. She named this particular piece “demi” because we only see half, as if cut exactly down the middle. Impenetrable to the naked eye, she can only assume what lies within. We experience a rare glimpse into the visionary imagination of a young artist taking the contemporary glass world by storm.
