0:49 Principe d’incertitude From Liuli China Museum
The principle of uncertainty was first discussed by Heisenberg in 1927. Through this series, Juliette showcases how everything is a controlled chance.
Her artwork emerges as independent entities with minds of their own. As the artist, she can only direct its origins but every colour combination, every twist, even the length, changes from one moment to another. Fired for one more minute in the kiln and we would be left with an entirely different sculpture.
Juliette captures these spontaneous moments in glass. She encourages us to live as fully as possible since one of us can predict nor control the future, we are all blindly tripping our way through this maze of reality.
