0:26 Coriolis Force From Liuli China Museum

     |     EN

The Coriolis Force was introduced in 1835 by a French scientist of the same name. It is the movement of air mass as dictated by the earth’s rotational axis. The Coriolis Effect directly affects ocean currents and weather. The stronger the Coriolis force, the faster the wind spins, forming cyclones and hurricanes. This piece was inspired by satellite imagery.
