Artistic Experience | Using LIULI as the Brush and Sincerity as the Ink,
to Create a Mother's Day Painting of Love and Gratitude

On Mother’s Day, May 11th, at the LIULI China Museum, a handmade LIULI bead activity themed around love and gratitude warmly commenced. Here, LIULI beads are no longer just works of art; they are vessels of love and the most special gifts for Mother’s Day.

The museum collaborated with “Comfy Life,” using LIULI beads as the brush and sincerity as the ink to jointly create a warm picture of love and gratitude. Under the explanation of Executive Director Huang Congzhi, the guests present learned about the founders of the LIULI Art Museum and LIULI Workshop’s commitment to, persistence in, and innovation of Chinese LIULI art since 1987, and were deeply moved by it.

During the mosaic demonstration, Director Huang compared a mother’s love to the care and patience in LIULI bead creation, with every detail hiding an understanding of beauty and a passion for life. From sketching to outlining, from how to make LIULI bead collages to each step of the creative techniques, every step was explained in detail. In the gleam of the LIULI beads, it seemed to reflect the delicacy and deep affection with which a mother matches clothes for her child.

The love for one’s mother is the ever-lasting gratitude in everyone’s heart. On this special day, we hope that through this event, the aesthetics of LIULI can be integrated into life, and that love and stories can eternally flow in the light and shadow.
